Short description:
Hydrophore Hollex: 331051 24V
Pressure vessel for your drinking water system on board your
boat/yacht/vehicle the system works through
pressurizing the drinking water system
in this 8 liter vessel by means of a water pump
of the brand Jabsco type 31395-2524-3A 24V
protected with pre-water filter Flojet No. 01740300
Connection in and output hose barb 12.45/14mm
Extensive description and manual:
The Hollex pressurized water system consists of a
Par diaphragm pump mounted on
a horizontal bellows boiler with a
capacity of 8 litres. The kettle is
equipped with a rubber bellows in which
the water is stored. Between
this bellows and the steel boiler sits a
amount of preloaded air. This bias (measured
if there is no water in the bellows) should be approximately 0.1 bar lower
than the pump cut-in pressure.
By default, this cut-in pressure
set to 1.1 bar and the cut-out pressure to 2.1 bar.
Connections
The suction and pressure side of the pressurized water system is fitted with a ½”G
hose connection. The length of the
suction line should not be more than
6 meters at a suction height of
maximum 1.5 meters. On the pump motor, the maximum current is in Amps
indicated. This value determines
the wire cross-section and the protection
or fuse. The pressure switch mounted on the boiler (not all types)
is double-pole and connected as such. The red wire is the positive wire
and the black wire is the mind wire. If
these wires are swapped,
however, this has no negative consequences for the engine or the operation of
the pump.
Commissioning:
Check whether the voltage of the
supplied pressurized water corresponds
with the on-board voltage. Look all
connections and make sure
that there is enough water in the tank
is present. Now open all taps and
start the pump. Not until there
water without air from all taps
flows, they can be closed again
turn into. Now the pump will enter the water
pump the rubber bellows and after approx
For one and a half minutes the pressure switch (at the discharge pressure of 2.1 bar) will
switch off the pump. Now open one or
several taps and wait for the
pump starts again. Check the
pressure at which the pump is switched on and off with the on the tank
mounted pressure gauge (not all
typing). Do this several times in a row
to the pipes and the rubber bellows
coils. If necessary, clean the suction filter built on the pump and
the pressurized water system is ready for use.
Maintenance:
Check the pre-pressure regularly
the boiler with a tire pressure gauge. This should only happen if
there is no water in the boiler,
that is, with open taps
and a switched off pump. If there
too little air is present, the
tear rubber bellows. Too little air
in the cauldron is revealed by
the pump starts too quickly, even if there is
only a small amount of water
has been used. If there is too much air in the
boiler, the pump will only start
when there is no more water from the tap
coming. This can cause the geyser to fail. Make sure that there is always enough voltage left on the motor.
Too little voltage will reduce the amperage
cause it to ramp up, causing the engine
can overheat. Let the pump
never walk too long at a time, to
prevent overheating of the motor
