Epifanes Rust Remover is a rust converter based on water-displacing polymers.
Makes the corroded surface suitable for painting and temporarily stops the corrosion process,
so that a rust-resistant primer can be applied after approx. 3 hours.
Ideal for areas that are difficult to sand, such as corners and pits.
Application:
Hand-derusted steel above and below the waterline.
Brush processing:
Do not dilute
Advice:
This rust converter must react with the steel, so do not apply to (residues of) paint layers.
Loose rust must be removed beforehand and the surface must be made grease-free.
This converter is not a replacement for a (primer) layer of the paint system.
Paintable:
After min. 3 hours and max. 48 hours at 18°C.
Paintable with:
all types of one- and two-component primers, paints and coatings
